Muriel Lennox has worked as a sports reporter, a financial writer, a television reviewer and the editor of the thoroughbred racing magazine Canadian Horse. Her articles have appeared in The Toronto Star, Report on Business, Toronto Life, City and Country Home, The Globe and Mail and Starweek, and is the author of E.P. Taylor: A Horseman and his Horses.
I've never read a book with so many character's and plots going on. The flavor of the book reminded me a bit of Louis L'Amour's "The Walking Drum" - which was one of my favorite easy-read's for a long time.
The book does a good job showing the character development of it's principle character. I highly recommend this to any parent who is currently homeschooling or considering homeschooling a child in the middle years.. The book connects mainstream electrical engineering concepts such as Fourier analysis, distortion and modulation to practical results. Her immediate response was 'How long until you finish so I can read it?' She snagged it just as soon as I was done. Bought it 10 years or so ago , for about $10.00 great pamphlet but do not pay these ridiculous prices. The taming of the shrew has nothing on She's the One Loved it.. Witty characters, crisp dialog, terrific flow, and entertaining plot lines.
