Unless I missed something big and obvious (which I don't think I did), the book was entirely unsatisfying. I was excited to dive in, but it took me a full ninety pages before I really felt like I was invested in the book and enjoying it. Terrell's ambitions did not wane just because she reached her seventies and eighties in age. He gives great phrases for teaching and preaching. I especially like that Tamara tackles the emotional side of treatment as someone who has both gone through it and as a nurse practitioner. The chapters end with a summary of the photographs that should be taken for the event discussed in that chapter.
The final chapter outlines the "Business of Wedding Photography" and gives the reader advice on building a portfolio, how to let the world know you're a weddding photographer, booking a wedding, preparing the wedding proof book and, most importantly, getting paid.
