Martin Hüdepohl (a.k.a. Xubor) is one of the most renowned freelance LEGO designers. He wrote the world’s first LEGO gun book in 2008 and now, after seven years of designing and inventing, has written his masterpiece: Elite Weapons for LEGO Fanaticsthe last book you’ll ever need to build working LEGO weapons. He is also the author of Badass LEGO Guns and Weapons for LEGO Lovers and works as a programmer, designer, and musician. Martin lives in Hamburg, Germany.
He likes the book as well as one could when reading for school. It's just a letdown from the high entertainment of previous works.. Pictures couldn't be better. All of this is slowly and subtly wound into the story so that you care deeply about Lila and Lenu, but also so that you feel their malaise, the pull they have on each other and the effect that the community has on them.
The second theme that really struck me was the one of poverty and the impact that it has on individuals and the community. No one knows why the agreement must be unanimous. I hope you guys enjoy Winter Morgan's books like I do.. (I had to come up with a classroom library of at least 50 books from a variety of genres and award winners.)
This book is #4 in the series of The Magic School Bus; A Science Chapter Book. We learn through the authors the weaknesses and strengths of such an entertainer. These books are very well researched, and very well written. I, as usual, am very happy with my purchase
