Much as you may cringe and try to look away, while being unable to put it down, when reading something like A Child Called "It", this book delves into the psychology and family dynamics in a event that seems to be occurring all to frequently. Charles usually writes a very entertaining, fast-paced book with a good plot. I highly recommend this process. I have a bad habit of trying to pick out the killer once the characters are introduced, and apparently I was in some kind of weird "Bad Seed" mindset when I started reading this book.
