I felt like I was watching a really good reality show being made. Overall there are important insights for the people who run libraries, however, the work reflects a patronizing view and has serious deficiencies. Tress could have used a bit more characterization as we don't really learn much about him aside for his obvious affection for Rath and that he likes to buy him things. However, I wish the ending hadn't been so contrived and unbelievable. It a basic curse book.
