My Grandson (6 years old) picked this book because it had dogs on the cover. It would work well in a early grades or preschool classroom studying multi-cultural themes, Mexican culture or Spanish language. Easy to read with plenty of information. I started reading this during my commute, and finished it during the first leg of my train trip home. There is plenty of adventure which is well-balanced with the sweet story of Jesus Christ. I did find that I wanted and needed the prayers too, so I used this book in conjunction with the standard prayers and meditations in Monfort Publications book "Preparation for Total Consecration according to Saint Louis Marie de Montfort.". It's hilarious and gets across the message of keeping your room clean so you know where your favorite things are when you need them in a fun way.
