For more concise, un-biased, information on the history, theology and sociology of Messianic Judaism I highly recommend Carol Harris-Shapiro's book, "Messianic Judaism, A Rabbi's Journey through Religious Change in America." Rabbi Harris-Shapiro gives a more detailed and concise overview.. I was required to take a Business Math class and this was the book the Professor assigned. He demonstrates that we must first listen to what the human author is saying and then we can ask how God is speaking to us through it. I realize that this was an expose' on Tom Jones and I respect that. Despite the alarming
